it's possible w/o ventones.

combine a pic and music w/ windows movie maker.

convert to *.3gp and rename to *.3g2.

follow ventones instructions but use the file you created to get it to your phone.

Don't use full range music, use Audacity or something to pass the lower frequencies.

This is possible to do w/o submitting your info to ventones.

Good luck. My LG Music on Sprint network w/ no power vision/internet has custom ringtones.

after trying everything you mentioned and more i am still not able to get ringtones for my katana 2. when i used to have a samsung with tmobile. i would go to myxertones.com and make my own ringtones and send them to my phone, but with my phone it couldn't find a working format so ive been looking online since. ive used different converters to qcp format and i upload it to an uploader and download it on my phone but once its on my phone no sound plays at all, ive tried this numerous times. When i saw this website you said to use qualcomm but when i clicked on the link i cant find a download link anywhere. ive read that some peoples phones will say their is no data, my phone says the extact data that i downloaded.. it says im using up that memory just no sound plays... when i read about the m4a.. i downloaded all those things and tired that format but i still get the same results.

Unfortunately, I don't have this ringtone. Other people have talked about it on my site, but I haven't been paying close enough attention to know for sure if anybody has post a link to it.

Jake,
You mentioned having the 24 ctu ring for sprint. I read what you posted about it, but I thought you could send it to me since you already have it worked out. Is that a possibility? Anthony
